- Thomas M. Patten, MSW
- After completing a Master Of Social Work (MSW) degree in 1972, from the University of Minnesota, Mr. Patten began his first Assisted Living community in 1981, in Duluth Minnesota. In the following 25 years, Mr. Patten has developed communities in both the public (non-profit) and private sectors and created programming for frail, hospice, rehabilitation and memory care residents. Since 2000 Mr. Patten has focused on developing software for Assisted Living Providers. In 2003 he was the recipient of the "Pioneer in Assisted Living Services" award by MHHA and presented by ALFA.

Thank you for posting this information. What is your assisted living program like? Is it by chance like the assisted living in edmonton? It's great that there are so many programs out there to help those in need.
